Afterschool Islamic Classes for Children - Weekdays, 5:00 pm

We offer Qur’an and basic fiqh classes for children after school and pray together ‘asr and maghrib prayers. In Qur’an classes the kids memorize short duas and chapters and learn the rules of proper recitation of Qur’an (tajweed).

Arabic Calligraphy Classes - Thursdays, 8:00 pm

Saban Karipek, who has ijazah (traditional degree) in calligraphy, teaches Arabic Calligraphy.
 

Fiqh Classes - Fridays, 8:00 pm

The class teaches adults the basic daily Islamic rules.

Qur’an Classes for Girls and Preschool Children - Saturdays, 12:00 pm

In this class, a sister teaches girls and preschool children how to read Qur’an and the rules for its proper recitation.

Tafseer Classes for Sisters – Saturdays, 3:00 pm

In this class, a knowledgeable sister offers interpretations of the Qur’an based on both rewayah and derayah tafseers.

Qur’an classes for Sisters - Saturdays, 4:00 pm

In this class, a hafizah instructor teaches women how to read Qur’an with tajweed and help them memorize some chapters.

Islamic Talks after Community Dinner - Saturdays, 8:00 pm

As a longstanding Iqra Masjid tradition, we offer community dinner on Saturdays followed by an Islamic talk on a variety of topics either by imam or invited speakers
